Stages

The stages may be included by the student in the study plan, as an Independent Choice Activity, for 6 or 9 ECTS. The stages may be carried out in Italy or abroad, but must in any case consist of activities of high educational value. The activity to be carried out as an internship must be agreed in advance with the university tutor, chosen from among the degree course lecturers, and approved by the Teaching Committee, which verifies its consistency with the degree course's educational objectives.

Stages that correspond to 12 ECTS are also admissible for research or innovative activities of particular complexity. Students wishing to undertake a 12-ECTS stage must identify an academic tutor with whom to prepare the content of the activity to be carried out, and then contact the academic advisory for internships (Prof. Lapo Filistrucchi, lecturer's web page), to whom they must send - before the start of the stage - a detailed plan, stating: the name of the academic turor, the content of the activity and the host organisation. Only after obtaining the approval of the tutor responsible for internships and work placements will the student be able to include the stage in the study plan and start the activity. The 12 ECTS stage plan is also subject to the favourable opinion of the university tutor and the subsequent approval of the Teaching Committee.
